History is a good teacher. When unions were growing so did the middle class. As unions declined, so did the middle class. It is time to return to our roots and re-build the labor movement. The ONLY way wages are going to increase is if workers became a political force in this country once again. For far too long, big corporations and the very wealthy have used the political system to line their pockets. While the rest of us have seen our incomes decline.
We need to organize and fight back. We need a capitalist country that once again works for all the people, not just the corporate fat cats!
